San Diego Tequila Tour began in March of 2019 as an Airbnb Experience and as time has gone on, evolved into a full on tour agency.
It is Nate, who after a few trips to Mexico for tequila tastings and learning about premium, quality product, continues to bring the passion of tequila, its origin, production process and culture of Mexico to San Diego; the next best place to being in Mexico without being in Mexico!
San Diego Tequila Tour received an incredible honor for Best Outstanding, Emerging Small Business for 2022 by San Diego Chamber of Commerce while providing fun, engaging experiences perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, bachelorette/bachelor parties, corporate events, etc.
We have you covered with group sizes 2 to 20 guests with start times available daily at 3pm and 6pm and a noon start available on Saturday and Sunday.
Join us for an unforgettable experience in Old Town San Diego at Rockin’ Baja Lobster, a lively and fun Mexican restaurant! We'll kick off our adventure with a tequila shot, accompanied by delicious chips and a full salsa bar.
Our journey then takes us on a scenic walk through Old Town. Feel free to explore and stop by the many charming stores to pick up some unique souvenirs along the way.
Next, we'll head to the picturesque Old Town Tequila Factory, perched high on the hillside. Here, we'll enjoy another tequila shot and savor a mouthwatering fish taco on the rooftop patio, offering stunning views of Downtown San Diego and the San Diego Harbor—perfect for capturing that perfect selfie!
As we continue our tour, we'll delve into the rich history of Old Town, learning about the Whaley House, early California, grave sites, historical markers, and other fascinating facts as we make our way to our final destination.
We’ve saved the best for last! Our tour concludes at El Agave, a renowned restaurant, bar, and tequila museum. This top-shelf tequileria boasts over 2,000 tequilas. Each guest will be treated to a personal flight of tequila, expertly curated by the bar vendors, all while enjoying the fine dining experience that marks the perfect end to our tour.
