Part 1: How to Sign Up
Go to the Affiliate Registration Page
Click the link below (or the button at the top of this page) to open the affiliate area on our website.

Fill Out the Registration Form
The form only asks for the basics:
- Username — pick anything you'd like (no spaces)
- Email Address — use one you check regularly, this is where commission notifications go
- Password — create a strong password and save it somewhere safe
Once you click Register, you'll get a confirmation email. Check your inbox (and your spam folder just in case) for an email from San Diego Tequila Tour.
After confirming, you're in — no approval process, no waiting. Your account is active immediately and you can log in right away.
Log In
Head back to sandiegotequilatour.com/affiliate-area/, and enter your username and password. You're now inside your affiliate dashboard.
Part 2: Finding & Using Your Referral Link
Find Your Unique Referral URL
After logging in, your personal referral link is right at the top of your dashboard. It looks something like this:
This link is yours alone. Anyone who clicks it and then books a tour on our site will be credited to your account.
Copy Your Link
Click the Copy URL button next to your link. It copies the full URL to your clipboard so you can paste it anywhere.
Share It — Anywhere
Your referral link works everywhere. Here are the best places to use it:
- Instagram bio — put it in your link and mention "SD Tequila Tour" in posts/stories
- Facebook posts or groups — share when San Diego events, bachelorette parties, or date nights come up
- Text messages — if a friend is visiting San Diego, just send the link
- TikTok or YouTube — mention the tour in your content and drop the link in your description
- Email newsletters or blogs — if you have any kind of audience, even a small one
- Yelp, TripAdvisor reviews — leaving a review and mentioning your link is fair game
Part 3: Tracking Your Commissions
Log In to Your Dashboard
Any time you want to check your earnings, just log back in at sandiegotequilatour.com/affiliate-area/. Your dashboard shows a live summary at the top: total visits, referrals, and earnings.
Check the Referrals Tab
The Referrals tab shows every booking credited to your account. You'll see the date, amount, and status of each referral.
Status meanings:
- Paid — commission has been approved and paid out to you
- Pending — booking confirmed, commission is being processed
- Unpaid — commission is approved but not yet sent (batch payout coming)
Check the Payouts Tab
The Payouts tab shows your payment history — every time we've sent your earnings. If you have a balance ready to be paid, you'll see it here.
Update Your Payment Info in Settings
Click the Settings tab in your dashboard to update your email address, payment method, and account details. Keep this current so we can get your money to you without delays.
Frequently asked questions about the affiliate program
Is it really free to join?
Yes, 100% free. There are no signup fees, no monthly fees, and no hidden costs. You just register, share your link, and earn. We take nothing from your commissions.
When do I get paid?
Commissions are marked as "paid" after the referred customer completes their tour booking. We process payouts on a regular basis. If you ever have a question about a specific payment, just email us at nate@sandiegotequilatour.com.
How do I get paid?
We process payouts manually and work with you directly on the preferred method. Reach out via the contact form or email us and we'll get you set up. Details can be updated in the Settings tab of your dashboard.
How long does my referral link track visitors?
Your referral cookie stays active for 30 days. That means if someone clicks your link today and books any time in the next 30 days, you get credit for it — even if they close the browser and come back later.
Can I use my own referral link to buy a tour?
No — the system automatically prevents self-referrals. You can't earn a commission on your own purchase. The program is designed for referring other people.
What if someone clicks my link but books by calling instead?
Unfortunately, phone bookings can't be automatically tracked through the affiliate system. If you know someone booked by phone because of you, reach out to us directly and we'll manually credit your account.
I signed up but I'm not seeing my referral link. What do I do?
Make sure you're logged in first — the link only appears when you're logged into your affiliate account. Go to sandiegotequilatour.com/affiliate-area/, log in with your username and password, and your referral URL will be at the top of the dashboard. Still having trouble? Email us and we'll help.
I forgot my password. How do I reset it?
On the affiliate login page, look for the "Lost your password?" link below the login form. Enter your email address and you'll receive a reset link in your inbox.
Can I see how many people are clicking my link?
Yes! Your dashboard shows a "Visits" count — that's the number of unique clicks your referral link has received. It's a great way to see how much traffic you're driving even before someone books.
