Accessibility Statement
Effective Date: October 18, 2026 | Last Updated: October 18, 2026
Our Commitment to Accessibility
San Diego Tequila Tour is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people of all abilities. We believe everyone deserves equal access to information and functionality, and we are continually improving the user experience for everyone by applying the relevant accessibility standards to sandiegotequilatour.com (the "Site").
Conformance Status
We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA, published by the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C). These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, auditory, physical, speech, cognitive, and neurological disabilities. We also work to support the goals of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and California's Unruh Civil Rights Act as they apply to digital content.
We regularly review the Site and work toward full conformance. Some content may not yet fully meet every success criterion; where gaps exist, we are actively working to resolve them. We give particular attention to the booking calendar, cart, and checkout pages, since these are where a barrier most directly prevents you from reserving a tour.
Accessibility on Our Tours
Our tours are walking tours through historic Old Town San Diego and visit independently owned venues. Some historic buildings, patios, and walkways include steps, slopes, or uneven surfaces. If you or someone in your group has a mobility, sensory, or other access need, please call us at (619) 876-0352 or email [email protected] before booking and we will share route details and do our best to accommodate you. If you are unable to use our online booking system, call us and we will book your tour directly.
Measures We Take
- Designing and developing with accessibility best practices and semantic HTML;
- Providing text alternatives for non-text content such as images;
- Maintaining sufficient color contrast and legible, resizable text;
- Ensuring the Site can be navigated using a keyboard and assistive technologies;
- Using clear, consistent navigation, headings, and link text;
- Labeling form fields and providing accessible error messages;
- Designing responsive layouts that adapt to different devices and zoom levels;
- Reviewing accessibility as part of our ongoing site maintenance.
Compatibility With Browsers & Assistive Technology
The Site is designed to be compatible with current versions of major web browsers and commonly used assistive technologies, including screen readers, screen magnifiers, and speech-recognition software.
Known Limitations
Despite our efforts, some limitations may exist. For example, third-party content such as embedded maps, video, review widgets, payment forms, or social-media embeds may not always be fully accessible because they are controlled by external providers. If you encounter a barrier, please let us know so we can assist you and prioritize a fix.
We Want Your Feedback
If you experience any difficulty accessing any part of the Site, or if you have suggestions for improvement, please contact us. We welcome your feedback and will make reasonable efforts to provide the information, item, or transaction you seek through an accessible communication method or alternative means.
