Here’s what you can expect

  • 2 1/2 Hour Long Tour
  • 5 Full Shots of Premium Tequila (blancos, reposados, anejos).
  • 1 Huge Fish Taco (veggie/chicken optional).

  • Discuss local history and landmarks as we walk throughout the birthplace of California, Old Town San Diego.
  • Learn about the process of producing tequila and the different tastes barreling tequila brings out.

Stop #1 - Rockin’ Baja Lobster

The group will meet in Old Town San Diego at Rockin’ Baja Lobster, a notoriously fun Mexican restaurant! We’ll sip our first tequila shot while enjoying chips and a full salsa bar!

Stop #2 - Old Town Tequila Factory

Our next stop is high on the hillside, Old Town Tequila Factory, where we sample another shot of tequila AND enjoy a delicious fish taco on the rooftop patio with a beautiful scenic view that overlooks Downtown San Diego and the San Diego Harbor that gives that perfect backdrop for a selfie!

Stop #3 - Whaley House

As the tour continues, we learn about the Whaley House, early California, grave sites, historical markers, and other Old Town facts as we pass them by on our way to our final stop.

Stop #4 - El Agave

Saving the best for last, the restaurant, bar and tequila museum El Agave. This is a top shelf tequileria and carries over 2,000 tequilas. Here, each guest is treated to YOUR OWN PERSONAL FLIGHT of tequila that is highly rated by the bar vendors while enjoying the fine dining establishment ending our tour!!

Nate was Great! Tour was very informative, which I love, and it was fun. Walking for location to location in Old Town is enjoyable, especially on a sunny day, great people watching and a happy vibe. The tequila tastings were all delicious and felt like I learned some things I didn’t know before, that will help me in future tequila purchases.
Plenty of chips and salsa at the first two locations, and the fish taco I had was 👌🏼👌🏼!
Would definitely reccomend; Nate also took a lot of candid photos of our group which was really nice 😊

We had the absolute best time on the San Diego Tequila Tour! Our guide, Nate, was phenomenal, knowledgeable, engaging, and so much fun. Not only did we learn all about tequila (and taste some incredible selections!), but we also got a deeper appreciation for Old Town’s rich history. The tour was the perfect mix of education, entertainment, and, of course, delicious tequila!
